 Truna begins working in cinema in 2010, creating and doing live performances of soundtracks for films. One of his most recent projects in cinema involves playing a musical soundtrack live (with Louis Louis from Belgium) for short films by Segundo de Chomón, with who produced many short films in 1900 and is well known for his frequent camera tricks and optical illusions.

 

His first live performance in cinema (and the most important to this day) comes with “King Kong Truna”. In this performance he projects a Super 8 film of King Kong from 1933 while improvising on a well-structured piece of music. He accompanies the film fwith theremin, harmonium and other of his sound inventions. while playing the film through a Super 8projector. He is present as the elegant musician, wearing waist coat and black gloves, and the beast, as he wears a King Kong mask. 

 

“King Kong Truna” has been performed in the film festival “REC” in Tarragona,“OUT OFF MIND” in Zaragoza, “NO NOLOGIC” in Barcelona, “CAOSTICA” in Bilbao, “PLUTON”
SLAUGHTERHOUSE and POP AL CARRER FESTIVAL in Valencia, “BAGATELA” in Madrid, “SLAUGHTERHOUSE” in Valencia “MAGATZEMS” in Valencia, “HELIOGABAL”

in Barcelona, “NIT'S DE AIELO I ART” in Madrid, and "MEM" at the "GUGENHEIM" in Bilbao.
